IT Technician

Dovestone have partnered with an exciting start-up company based in Cheadle Hulme who are searching for an IT Technician to join their growing team.
This role is designed for an individual at the start of their career who wants to break into the IT industry. Perhaps you have just completed a University or College course, or are the go to IT fixer in your family or maybe even built your own PC’s? This is all relevant experience for a career in IT support.
The job requirements for this role vary and will change as you get more experience. You will start by setting up starters with their IT equipment, or assisting with basic hardware and software issues. As you progress alongside their detailed training scheme, you will be moved onto more technical areas, which will allow you to specialise in, which could be anything from Networking to Security. There is plenty of scope to progress and the firm boasts many examples of staff progressing into senior positions, after starting as a junior.
The culture of the firm is also a real positive. They have plenty of social activities to help you settle into the business quickly and meet people across different parts of the business
Salary for this role is £25k, with 22 days holiday, plus bank holidays. The role will also require you to be on site.
