The Women’s Children’s & Clinical Support Services division is one of three divisions within Imperial College Healthcare Trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and conscientious team player to join large multi-disciplinary teams, in the directorate Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine.
Our gynaecology services are based at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital (located on the Hammersmith Hospital Site), at St Mary’s Hospital and various community locations in Central London and Hammersmith & Fulham.
We have a1 permanentvacancy for a Band 5 Administration Manager who will be working in a devolved administration setting within the Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine Directorate, based at St Mary’s Hospital Site.
The Manager will be responsible for our daily Outpatient KPIs and DQIs. The post holder will be responsible for line managing our junior admin staff. The post holders will liaise with doctors and nurses and wider Gynaecology team as well as other departments within the hospital.
The successful post holder will be used to working autonomously, be proactive and able to take initiative to solve problems. The administrator will need to work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and various administrative teams to deliver the objectives of the service.
We are looking for someone who can balance the demands of a very busy workload and is dedicated to delivering excellent patient experience. Experience in using Cerner is preferable.
Manages the people, processes and performance of an administration or service support team within a specified service. Manages the planning and prioritisation of the work associated with their team and organises all activities in order to achieve a cost effective, productive, high quality service. Provides cross site support to enable co-operation within and amongst teams.
The post holder will provide support and expert knowledge to the administration team within the Elective Care Operating Framework team, a Trust wide framework initiated to look at the way elective care is managed across the Trust. The post holder will oversee all the administrative and clerical processes that are necessary to enable a high quality, effective patient focussed service to support the timely delivery of elective care. The post holder will ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are followed and support the administration team and senior managers in ensuring that elective care performance targets are achieved. The post holder will be responsible for providing regular updates on procedure coding, RTT performance, PTL management, and escalation to senior managers of any issues which hinder the safe and timely delivery of the patient pathway.
