We are offering the opportunity to kick start your career in business administration and gain industry experience whilst working towards your gaining your Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship.

Innovation and improvement are a core value of Synnovis and key to advancing clinical and operational practice for the benefit of our patients. Working closely with the Innovation Accelerator Fund Administrator, you will support with administrative tasks related to research, innovation and development functions at Synnovis, primarily the Innovation Accelerator fund which supports pathology-based research projects to promote innovation and diagnostic development.

Working in a brand-new, state-of-the-art pathology hub in the heart of London as part of a small team that is responsible for coordinating the delivery of a research fund that has awarded over £1m to support innovation in pathology, you will gain hands-on business administration experience.

The main day-to-day duties of the job include supporting with the preparation and distribution of meeting packs; taking meeting minutes; tracking actions; receipting and checking the completeness of funding applications; responding to emails sent to the Innovation Accelerator Fund mailbox; liaising with funding applicants and project investigators; tracking progress of research projects; and supporting with internal and external communications.

The post-holder will be required to communicate effectively; maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately; and ensure that records are kept accurate, comprehensive and up to date.

This is managed between you and your line manager in line with your own personal and professional development ambitions.

Currently our offices are based in Paris Garden, Blackfriars SE1, or Francis House, Southwark SE1 however at present these are temporary locations. We expect to move to new offices in the Hub building located in Blackfriars in 2024.
