Family Office Private Banking Assistant

Key Responsibility
- Oversee the daily monitoring of the clients’ accounts, overdrafts, outstanding actions, open trade monitoring, etc
- Liaise with internal service providers to ensure timely and accurate execution/resolution of clients’ requests and all activities related to settlement, custody, reporting and transaction processing across middle and back office operational teams in Luxembourg and Geneva
- Monitor operational activity to ensure that errors are detected and are remediated as soon as reasonably possible
- Working in conjunction with the RM to facilitate client account opening within the CRM tool within the G2 platform. Open accounts and support the Senior Relationship Manager with all administrative duties relating to client account opening, client correspondence, and where necessary communicate with the client in relation to queries
- Ensure appropriate documentation is collated and held for all UK clients (primarily in CRM)
- Ensure appropriate documentation of client contracts, justification of transactions for Compliance
- Facilitate execution of trade orders (multiple trade execution transactions/multiple asset classes, cash transfers, management fees of clients, foreign exchange transactions, corporate actions, etc.) and implement management fees
- Observe the Balanced Business Scorecard including adherence to the values, standards and behaviours required within Lombard Odier
- Ensure that the UK Branch on-boarding process is followed for all new relationships (including the creation of high quality Due Diligence Committee files for submission)
- Notify Bankers of documentation issues/pending items encountered in the course of the development of business by the Private Bankers
- Adhere to Individual Code of Conduct rules including the Consumer Duty by acting to deliver good outcomes for customers
Desired Profile
- RDR Level 4 (minimum) or achieved within 6 months from start date
- Experience of working in an international, multicultural Private Banking or Asset Management environment
- Robust knowledge of Wealth Management practices and processes
- Appreciation and understanding of the full cycle of banking processes
- Proficient direct client interaction and ability to maintain a professional approach at all times
- Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload accordingly
- Current working experience of banking administration and operations (asset transfers, foreign exchange, money transfers, fixed and call deposits, subscription and redemption of mutual funds, corporate actions, income collection)
- Proven experience of account opening for different types of client (KYC, AML, FACTA)
