Title: Fundraising Administrator (known internally as Philanthropy Administrator)


Salary: £29,294


Contract: Permanent


Hours: 35 hours per week


Location: Based in London office with hybrid working




The Philanthropy programme at Crisis has flourished in recent years and has the full backing of senior leaders and an inspirational case for support to end homelessness. We are working to end homelessness in three ways; person by person at the individual level, place by place in specific places around Britain, and policy by policy at a national level –together these offer a variety of opportunities for our amazing philanthropists to engage with our work.


We’re searching for a proactive Fundraising Administrator to support the Philanthropy team as we consolidate the changes and successes of recent years and prepare for the next phase of ambitious growth.

About the role


As the Fundraising Administrator, you will support the wider fundraising and philanthropy team to achieve our shared goals. You will support with fundraising communications, events and engagement, financial processes, supporter data, enquiries, and the prospect pipeline (jointly with the Prospect Research Executive).


About you


To be successful in this role you will:



  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills and be confident in communicating with people externally

  • Have experience in working in a supporter or customer facing environment

  • Be proactive and motivated to take the initiative

  • Be organised with a methodical approach to tasks



  • Be fully competent on all MS Office programmes

  • Have experience in using databases

  • Share our passion and commitment to ending homelessness and will put Crisis supporters and members at the heart of our work.
