ROLE PURPOSE


As a Junior Administrator, your primary role will be to provide invaluable support to both our Accounts Receivable team and our Business Support team. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of these departments by assisting in various administrative and financial tasks.




KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



  • SC Balancing Charges Input:

    • Accurately inputting SC balancing charges into the system, ensuring precision and reliability of financial data.


  • Data Cleansing Activities:

    • Conducting RPI cleanse and correction procedures to enhance data accuracy.

    • Updating and rectifying customer email addresses and contact details for improved communication.


  • Basic Inputs for Lease Transactions:

    • Updating lease transactions within the system, including halting billing for specific leases.

    • Generating ad-hoc demands and managing rent review processes.


  • Credit Allocations:

    • Efficiently allocating credits within the system, maintaining accurate financial records.


  • Five9 Phone Lines Handling:

    • Responsibly handling incoming customer calls via the Five9 phone lines, providing support and assistance as required.


  • GoCardless Requirements Management:

    • Setting up new customer accounts in compliance with GoCardless standards.

    • Creating Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) using Horizon software.

    • Managing failed Direct Debit (DD) reversals and handling canceled mandates effectively.


  • 3U's Allocations and Support:

    • Allocating resources based on the 3U's principle to facilitate investigations and resolution.
    • Working to minimize issues and taking proactive actions accordingly.




SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE


Essential



  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field, or equivalent vocational qualifications.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data entry, report generation, and presentations.

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration within the team.

  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality regarding financial information.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Numerical aptitude with strong analytical skills for financial data analysis.


Desirable



  • Familiarity with financial software/systems
  • Competent in Horizon, Microsoft excel (Pivot tables and VLookups) and Powerpoint.
