The hospital has residential facilities for 56 patients as well as day care and outpatient services.
There is currently a vacancy for part time Administrator within The Priory Hospital – Altrincham, providing efficient, professional and effective secretarial and administrative support for Clinical Services. The role holder should be educated to GCSE (A to C) or equivalent standard and possess excellent keyboard skills and a high level of proficiency in a range of office applications and have experience in a clinical environment. The role holder will have highly developed communication skills, liaising with a variety of staff within the hospital and with external agencies. The role holder’s key accountabilities will include taking minutes at clinical meetings, monitoring the completion of audits ensuring relevant deadlines are met, provision of information to the hospital’s consultant body, coordination of the on call rota, policy coordination and the processing of agency invoices and ensuring that all agency usage is recorded accurately. In addition to this the role holder will support the Director of Clinical Services in achieving compliance in governance and quality standards and will play a key role in internal and external inspections ensuring relevant documentation is available to inspectors.
It is important that the role holder is able to demonstrate initiative, improving processes and the general ebb and flow of information supporting operational effectiveness. An ability to problem solve and evidence of adaptive thinking when appropriate is essential.
