Position: 1st Line Helpdesk

Location: SE11

I have partnered with a charity organisation who are seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. They're based in Southeast London.

You'll be joining a small team of IT Engineers supporting their employees with their IT needs.

There will be occasional travel involved to their other sites, so a driver's license and transport is preferred.

Alongside the team, you'll be supporting Active Directory, Windows, Office 365, DNS, DHCP and printers.

Role requirements/skills:

• Experience in a 1st line support position


• Technical knowledge and experience of supporting a Windows environment


• Skilled in Windows, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Office 365


• Great communication skills, written and verbal


• Good time management


• Ability to manage tickets according to SLAs

Job responsibilities:

• Responding to IT support tickets and escalating when necessary


• Deskside support and remote support


• Troubleshooting and maintenance of software and hardware


• Managing your own tickets


• Travelling to other sites when required

There will be some opportunities for hybrid working. With 1 remote working day per week.
