Medical Records Clerk / Receptionist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Old Age Mental Health Services as a Administrator/Receptionist .

We currently have a part time position available at the Ribchester Centre, Parsons Lane, Bury. The hours are either 4 days per week 09.00-17.00
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Outpatients Department in the Old Age Mental Health Service.
To be responsible for ensuring electronic patient records are updated accurately, receiving and dispatching notes, making and re-arranging appointments for patients along with other duties to ensure that the department meets all customer and patient services.
You should have excellent IT, communication and administration skills, be well organised with a meticulous approach to work and attention to detail. You will be proactive and able to manage your own working time effectively. You must have a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. High standards of professionalism and a desire to learn will be essential. The post involves moving paper records subject to manual handling guidelines under the terms of the Equality Act 2010.
