Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's infrastructure systems- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for system improvements- Ensure compliance with security standards and implement necessary measures to protect data
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, server hardware, and operating systems- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
