Job Title: Junior IT Support Engineer

The role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our organization's end-users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network configurations, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. If you have a passion for technology and a desire to grow your career in IT support, this is an excellent opportunity to start your journey. The role is fully office-based but there is occasional travel to sites in the UK, Europe and US to support office infrastructure. The scope of this may include Desktop or Office applications, Telephony and video conferencing or Sales or back-office applications.

The person:

• You are a team player with the ability to work alone where necessary, and a keen learner.


• You have a real interest in hardware and software support, relishes a challenge and can logically solve problems.


• Great communication and customer service skills are a must, as is some experience of 1st line support tools and techniques.


• Basic knowledge of networking, Windows OS and Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory.


• You have excellent organisational skills, can prioritise work, finish what you start, manage your time, and follow up on actions.

Experience:

• PC literate with a demonstratable aptitude to pick up new software packages and processes quickly.


• Experience in Office 365, Azure, Active Directory. Network experience would be a benefit.


• IT qualifications or equivalent expertise gained in work an advantage.


• Setup of new hardware (desktops, laptops, VoIP phones, printers) when required.

Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
