About the Job:
We are looking for a skilled IT Technician to join our team and provide IT support for our organization. As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting software and hardware issues, setting up computer networks, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with staff at all levels and ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide 1st Line IT support for on-site and remote users.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
Configure and install new PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other IT hardware.
Set up new users' accounts and profiles and handle password issues.
Manage onboarding and offboarding procedures.
Offer technical assistance with business projects when needed.
Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Log and manage support tickets and maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes.
Requirements:
Certification in Computer Science, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with various computer systems and networks.
Basic knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
Basic knowledge of command-line, PowerShell, and Office 365.
Good knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £26,500.00 per year
