Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review claims from customers via inbound telephone calls.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of each claim, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
- Communicate with customers to gather additional information, clarify details, and address their concerns.
- Process claims in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Investigate and assess claims to determine eligibility and coverage.
- Collaborate with the claims department to resolve complex or disputed claims.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, claims processing, and resolution outcomes.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries.
- Educate customers about the claims process and keep them informed about the status of their claims.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and ethics in all interactions with customers.
- Assist with additional customer service tasks as needed.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience of call handling - inbound calls.
- Strong administrative skills
- Proven experience in a similar industry
- Confident telephone manner.
- Strong IT skills - Microsoft programmes.
