Job Title: Front of House – Receptionist
Salary: £24,300 per annum
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, rotating shifts Monday to Sunday
Contract Type: Permanent
King Edward VII’s Hospital is a leading private hospital in London, providing exceptional healthcare to our patients. The Hospital has been dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care since 1899 and today continues to be one of London’s leading private hospitals.
We are currently seeking a Front of House Receptionist to join our team and ensure that all patients, visitors, and staff receive a warm welcome and excellent customer service.
What will you be doing?
- Welcome patients and visitors to the hospital and provide them with all necessary information and assistance
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and updating databases
- Maintain a professional, clean, and tidy reception area at all times
- Work closely with the hospital’s clinical and administrative teams to ensure that patient care and customer service standards are met
Who are you?
- Have previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
