PA to the Headteacher Clerk to the Governors

Start date: Monday 8th January 2024

36 hours per week, term Time Only + 2 weeks, 41 weeks

PO1: £38,037 – £40,503 (actual pro rata salary £34,155 – £36,369 TTO + 2)

Attendance necessary at Governing Body meetings (time in lieu or overtime offered)

We are seeking an ambitious and hardworking individual with experience of working at a senior level within fast paced environments to provide support to the Headteacher and Governing Body.

Our exam results reflect the hard work of our students and staff. In 2023, 92% of our girls attained GCSE English and Mathematics at grades 9-4. At A Level, our results are consistently outstanding, with high numbers of girls progressing to a wide range of Higher Education courses. In 2023 80% of grades were A*-B. Students at LMS have an excellent record of securing places at top universities.

About the Role

Working alongside the Headteacher and the Chair of Governors, the successful candidate will play a key role in the strategic and day to day running of the school. Responsibilities will range from providing dedicated administrative support to the Headteacher to acting as Clerk to the Governing Body.

A high standard of written and spoken English along with advanced secretarial and IT skills are essential for this role. You will be able to confidently multitask and work across a broad range of people and subject areas. A highly organised self-starter with the ability to research and represent complex information in document and policy format, you must have excellent administration, process and interpersonal skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
