Family Office Administration Support Full Time

Who we're looking for at Cazenove Capital We’re looking for an experienced Administrator to join our Wealth Management division known as Cazenove Capital, which is part of the Schroders group. You will work within the Middle Office Operations team and be the primary liaison between Front Office and Back Office colleagues for family office and complex client related matters. You will take a proactive role in delivering excellent client service. You’ll be busy, hands-on and can-do. You will develop deep technical knowledge of our processes and systems and work across the business to challenge, develop and improve our processes and foster a wider understanding. You will be a 'go-to' person for colleagues at all levels across the business.


The base: We have a new office in the financial centre of London. we have everything here we need to work flexibly.

What you’ll do You will have experience / specialise in Operations. You will have deep technical knowledge of processes and systems and work across the business to challenge, develop and improve our processes and foster a wider understanding. You will be a ‘go-to’ person for colleagues supporting family office-type, complex clients.



Day to day activities


  • Support our clients and the Front Office team by providing the oversight and information they need. You will work closely with Family Office Services (FOS), Portfolio Managers and Directors and have a comprehensive understanding of the needs of the complex clients you are working with.

  • Work closely with both the Middle and Back Office Operations teams to make our clients' experience seamless

  • Troubleshooting and assisting with ad hoc non-standard requests to make sure we meet clients' needs in an accurate and timely manner

  • Understand and oversee processes across multiple functions to ensure good client outcomes

  • Manage relationships with external parties such as third party custodians, general partners and administrators

  • Make sure that client accounts and portfolios are kept compliant with regulations and our procedures

  • Review clients' statements, monitoring reconciliations for third party custody accounts and look to resolve any issues

  • Proactively keep Front Office informed about their clients’ accounts, reporting any changes, queries or problems

  • Help Front Office with the reporting needs of clients and their advisors

  • Assist with private asset administration

  • You may be asked to contribute to business-wide client service and internal process committees. You will build a strong internal network and have a good understanding of the key client service and operational issues affecting the business

  • You will have excellent technical knowledge and the experience to highlight and share best practice throughout the business when required.

  • You should be comfortable challenging the status quo when appropriate

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need


  • Excellent IT skills, especially with the Microsoft Office suite

  • Extensive experience (5 – 10 years or more) of operations in the financial sector, preferably with family office exposure

  • An interest in complex private clients

  • Good working knowledge of private assets, e.g. single private companies, limited partnerships

  • Excellent communication and relationship skills

  • Highly organised and an ability to multi-task

  • Previous experience of collaboration and teamwork

  • Experience in financial processes and systems

  • Familiarity with typical complex family structures
