Faculty Administrator – Faculty of Business & Law

Part-time 0.8 FTE (28.8 hours per week over 4 or 5 days)

Starting salary: £23,684 (29,605 FTE)

We are looking for an experienced professional to join a team of administrators in the Faculty of Business & Law.

You will work as member of a flexible and responsive team to provide high quality administrative and operational support to a wide range of programmes within the faculty. You will work collaboratively with academic staff and professional services staff across central and Faculty-based teams to support the efficient delivery of core activities in the student lifecycle, including student recruitment, enrolment, engagement, monitoring and assessment. In addition, you will also support our growing portfolio of programmes delivered by partner institutions.

Ideal candidates will have experience of working in an office-based administrative role, providing administrative services and support to variety of stakeholders both internal and external. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be a good organiser with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You will have good IT skills, with demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office applications, and be a competent user of work-related databases.

You will be a flexible team player and have proven ability to use your initiative to resolve work-related issues appropriately.
