We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate receptionist to join the group operations department of a highly regarded insurance firm based in the heart of the city/central London based on a 6/7 month temporary contract. This will be a 5 days’ a week office based role with a newly renovated reception and a salary circa £30-£32k per annum pro rata.


The opportunity:


Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you will be responsible being the first point of contact for clients both in person and on the phone


The role:


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Maintaining security for the building, issuing passes to visitors and maintaining the visitors’ book



  • Notifying appropriate people of visitors



  • Tracking people arriving for appointments and when they exit the building



  • Answering phone calls and responding appropriately to the caller’s needs



  • Ensuring meeting rooms are left clean and tidy



  • Providing refreshments for meetings
