The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and driven person to join our People team in London as the PA to CEO and Office Manager. You can expect to work on various impactful projects and help continue to make Plum a great place to work. You will be working closely with the Founder and CEO of the company to help make his life easier along with balancing the day to day requirements of office operations in London. This role is truly varied with no two days the same. We are a fast growing company and are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people and ready to jump right in and get started.
What you will do
- Manage the founder’s requirements and requests whether it be managing his diary, organising meetings, booking travel and other ad hoc personal requests. Basically trying to make his life as easy and seamless as possible
- Be responsible for the day to day running of the London office liaising with the building management, internal IT department, suppliers, equipment and stock control
- Work with the People Ops team to organise company events including team bonding activities in London and our annual company trip
- Be the face of Plum, welcoming guests to our office and ensuring they have a good experience
- Adhoc People team administration where needed, ie, assisting with onboarding new joiners and making them feel welcome, internal events and other projects
Who you are
- An ‘approachable, people’ person and have a good energy about life
- Someone with good initiative who enjoys communicating with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth office operation
- An organised individual who can work proactively to identify and solve problems
- Someone who has worked with a Senior Executive or Founder of a company in a similar role in the past. Experience in a startup environment would be a plus
- A little bit of a hustler, we like a good deal at plum!
- Someone capable of understanding private and confidential matters
- Eligible to live & work in the UK
- Able to work in the office minimum 4 days per week
