Job Description
International Events Administrator required by a world famous membership organisation based in central London. The post holder will provide administrative support to international regions including regional staff colleagues and Country Representatives (volunteers). Activities will include organising meetings and events in the UK and overseas, drafting copy for promotional use and using corporate systems (electronic calendars, member databases, travel and finance systems).
This is a full time permanent role, salary £27,000 per annum plus excellent benefits – hybrid working (flexible, can be 4 days at home and 1 day in the office) – offices located in central London (Zone 1).
The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration, preferably in a member-based organisation and had exposure to international communications, including the diplomacy and tact to work across distinct cultural environments. They will also have the ability to create a favourable impression with both internal and external audiences and be able to gather information from a variety of established sources and compile reports within an agreed framework. Excellent minute taking skills is also required.
Duties include:
Work as part of the Regional Team providing support, to ensure effective team performance
Respond to all volunteers, members and potential members in a professional and timely manner
Administration and planning for International Committee, Regional Strategy Meetings and Regional Committee meetings
Book travel for regional staff and international volunteers
Arrange dispatch of marketing collateral to Country Representatives in all parts of the world
Coordinate meetings between regional staff colleagues, other parts of the organisation and external organisations – including minute taking at meetings
Provide administrative support for the planning and delivery of overseas events
Arrange freight for overseas events
Produce simple promotional copy in conjunction with Membership Marketing colleagues
Produce reports for the International Team from the membership database
Ensure that events are presented on the website in a timely manner and that all statistics are kept up to date
Maintain International pages of the website
Distributing grants to overseas representatives annually
