We are seeking an Administrative Officer to work as part of a job-share. The Administrative Officer role is part of a busy central team providing a high standard of administrative support to a large professional services directorate.
Reporting to the Executive Support Manager, the successful candidate will contribute to the administration support function to the ILS Directorate and the ILS Executive team and be responsible for overseeing and administering staff development activity across ILS, including travel arrangements, event and conference bookings and staff expenses, managing complex electronic diaries for senior managers, and facilitating a wide range of user groups and meetings including producing notes and formal minutes.
We are looking for someone with significant experience of working in a diverse and busy office environment and be proactive with excellent organisational, communication and time management skills. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to manage a diverse workload, prioritise effectively and work under their own initiative to provide an efficient and effective service.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of secondary education including GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths, as well as a recognised business or administrative qualification or equivalent experience.
This role is part-time as part of a job-share working 21 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, 09:00am – 5:00pm. The salary is pro-rata of the advertised salary range.
