KLS Law have significant experience dealing with complex legal matters. We are considered legal experts in personal injury, housing disrepair, court of protection, contract disputes, commercial agreements, alternative dispute resolution, medical regulationand insurance law.
Our offices based in Warrington, are central and easily accessible to Warrington Bank Quay and Warrington Central train stations, only a 10 minute walk away
We are currently looking for a Legal Secretary to join our team. Previous legal experience is not essential as training will be provided.
Experience required:
- Previous secretarial experience is desirable
- Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications (ideally Proclaim)
- Knowledge outlook and word packages
- Excellent standards of spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Fast and accurate typing
- previous call handling / switchboard experience is desirable
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage correspondence, legal documents and court papers.
- Audio and copy typing of legal documentation to a high standard.
- Proactive client liaison including take messages, passing on information or dealing with queries.
- Maintain filing systems, electronically and also paper files.
- Preparation of indexes and bundles including ebundles.
- Carry out other administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning and collating of documents
- Answering the overflow of calls from our busy switchboard and transferring them through to the relevant person or taking accurate messages
- Updating clients on the progress of their claim
- Assisting with the dealings of both, outgoing and incoming post when needed
- Provide admin support to teams when needed
- Any other ad hoc duties requested when required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Monday- Friday 37.5 hours per week
This role is office based at 1210 Centre Park Square WA1 1RU
