Medical Secretary in Gastroenterology

An outstanding opportunity for a part time Medical Secretary within the specialty of Gastroenterology has arisen.
Would you like to take on a role that provides you with ownership of your workload? Would you like to be creative in your approach and be responsible for supporting to ensure our patients receive the best quality of care by using your skills, experience and our trust’s values and behaviours?
You will have medical typing qualifications and previous experience as a Medical Secretary. You will have excellent communication skills and be particularly caring and understanding. Experience in the use of Medisec, Winscribe Digital Dictation, PAS and e-Referral would be an advantage.
This post is Permanent
Hours per week: 15 hours a week job share. Days to be agreed.
To manage the office administration of the Consultant and designated medical staff, and provide an efficient and effective secretarial service. The post-holder acts as the first point of contact for all forms of communication for the Consultant and their team. The post requires excellent organisational skills, medical audio typing, and a sound knowledge of medical terminology
