Job overview
We are looking for a hardworking, flexible, resilient, and compassionate individual to undertake the role of Team Administrator based in our Community Mental Health Team. The successful applicant will be working in a busy office environment with a multidisciplinary team of Community Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Support Workers.
The post holder will be expected to answer a busy phoneline, whilst demonstrating compassion and maintaining professional boundaries with callers. This can mean some callers may be distressed; therefore, a person-centered and non-judgmental approach is always required.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to liaise with GPs, Consultants and other agencies responding to queries appropriately ensuring confidentiality. Good communication skills are essential.
The ideal applicant should have strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Word. They will be responsible for inputting data onto our clinical system, diary management and issuing of correspondence and keeping accurate and confidential records.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
