An exciting opportunity has arisen within Community Services for an Administrator to work within the Team, initially supporting the Management Office but also providing rotational administrative support to the four health centres, Cheetham Health Centre, Harpurhey District Office, Victoria Mill Health Centre and Cornerstones Health Centre.

The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient secretarial, clerical and administrative support to teams of management, health and social care professionals. The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and experienced administrator who is an excellent communicator, organised and able to work well under pressure. The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to teams of health / social care professionals. The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems. The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the services requiring clear communication and liaison skills. They will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative.

You should have proven secretarial skills, have the ability to be organised and possess a recognised educational standard in English and Maths and/or equivalent demonstrable skills i.e. good command and understanding of English language/literature and numerical skills. Experience of general office procedures is essential as well as excellent keyboard and data inputting skills as well as an understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
