IT Deployment Lead
Salary circa £55,000 + company bonus and benefits
This exciting role is part of the Mars Global Services Digital Technologies organisation. The IT Deployment Lead is accountable for the deployment of the Microsoft 1NAV ERP solution to the Royal Canin markets, as well as for the management of all projects and enhancement activities on the different 1NAV environments.
What are we looking for?
This role will suit an organised and experienced team player with a strong understanding and experience with ERP and business systems. We are looking for someone with the following:
Project/Program Management
Budget Management
Experience working within complex programs of work, with multiple workstreams and dependencies
Skilled in consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders including vendors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High-level organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead early engagement discussions to understand project complexity, align stakeholders and teams on resources needed for the project and fix Kick-off timelines
Own and manage the relationship with third-party vendor: align expectations, objectives and KPI’s. Review quality of service delivered by the vendor and manage escalations/improvements if needed.
Financials: participate in OP build, periodic financial management of project budgets (PO’s, x-charges, cost plan updates tracking risks & opportunities)
Create and manage Demand & Project records on Service Now PPM
Ensure on-time & quality project delivery by vendor, through regular follow-up with Project Managers
Be first escalation point, responsible for issues & crisis management
Senior Stakeholder Management: Attend Steering Committees and manage local, regional and global Leadership stakeholders
Align priorities and dependencies between your and other projects
Accountable for project management & governance best practices (make sure they are applied by all project teams, improve certain methodologies and ways of working if needed).
