IT Service Manager

To support the continuing growth of the company, we are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join the IT Team. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the operation and development of our IT infrastructure and Service Desk Team, providing a solid foundation for the future success of the company.
The role & responsibilities:
Management
- Develop roles and responsibilities within the IT team to support business objectives.
- Provide training and coaching to the team to support their professional and personal development.
- Co-ordinate resource and support for Liberty Wines sites, ensuring the business is fully supported by the team.
- Interpret business objectives and communicate them clearly to the team.
- Analyse Service Desk activity through reporting and make recommendations for increased organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage the internal and end user related documentation ensuring it is all maintained and updated.
- Actively seek feedback on IT service to help continually improve user experience. Strategic
- Consult with stakeholders to understand the goals of the business and advise how technology can support the achievement of them.
- Work proactively to ensure that IT systems operate reliably and securely.
- Setting of annual operational and capital expenditure budgets with the Head of Finance.
- Identify and advise COO and stakeholders on relevant and impactful new technology. Technical
- When required help the Support Engineers resolve incidents and requests coming into the helpdesk
- Maintain and develop the server and network infrastructure across our three sites
- Regularly review the Company’s security posture implementing changes and updates where necessary. Including:
- End-point protection; client and server.
- E-mail filtering for malware, spam, and phishing attacks
- Perimeter defence including content filtering and intrusion prevention and detection
About you
You will be someone that has a deep understanding of how IT is used to support the operation and development of a business. You will have a people and service-first approach and can quickly read a situation and calculate commercial priorities.
As an experienced IT professional, you be able to support, guide and coach your team while still enjoying providing support to users on a regular basis. You will have experience of preparing and managing a significant annual budget, working with stakeholders to anticipate and support growth over the fiscal period.

Salary/package will be commensurate with experience as well as:

This is a permanent role and will be based out of our London office in Clapham, requiring regular travel to our distribution centre in Basingstoke.
