Regional Digital & IT Analyst, Europe
at Marine Stewardship Council London in London (Published at 02-11-2023)
Location : Hague (Netherlands) or London (UK)
Do you love technology?
Do you want to help staff get the best out of the technology available to them?
If you’ve answered yes, to both questions, then this could be the opportunity for you.
The MSC is investing in digital technology to allow its processes to be scaled up effectively. In the last few years, the organisation has adopted a new Data Architecture and released several new systems including a CRM, an objective setting and tracking tool and this recruitment platform you’re using now!
Whilst this role will be based in London or the Netherlands, you will be part of our global IT team, working with equivalent roles in other regions and you will play a significant part in bridging the gap between central IT and business needs.
The heart of this role combines training with business process analysis, to help teams learn new tools and transfer business processes online.
The Regional Digital & IT Analyst (RDA) will support MSC staff across their region to adopt and utilise the digital tools available to them. One day you might be helping the Marketing team get the best out of Google Analytics, and the next day guiding the Commercial team on how to create a new report in Dynamics 365 or working with an Office Manager to test hot desking software.
The key skills we are looking for are:
- a natural aptitude for learning new technologies
- experience training staff in using and adopting technology
- the ability to capture and understand business processes and help teams find efficiencies
- someone willing to learn about data.
Whilst all RDAs have, at their heart, the same core role irrespective of region, we also look for each one to take the lead in understanding certain systems. If you have a specialism in, for instance, CRM or analysing system usage, this will be an advantage when applying for the role.
This is not a formal helpdesk role expected to fix hardware however procurement of laptops for MSC employees in Europe and tracking the allocation of laptops is core to this role.
If this has inspired you, please apply here; we look forward to hearing from you!
