A Leading Property Company located in Surrey/Kent borders (close to M25) are looking for an IT Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This will be a hybrid working position that would be mainly remote but perhaps once a week in the office.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
The Company is developing new and exciting retirement living neighbourhoods in the UK. They are creating a portfolio of assisted living developments, offering contemporary apartments for rent in brand-new, purpose- built facilities. These developments will be fully owned and operated by the company, allowing them to offer best-in-class accommodation, facilities and support for their residents. The company is so much more than apartments they want neighbours to live longer, better, healthier and happier lives. They want to re-ignite the spark and help the residents rediscover their purpose whilst promoting a culture of wellbeing, exercise and healthy living. They are rapidly expanding company with three sites operational and a further four in the pipeline – in and around London and the surrounding counties - so there’s a huge amount of opportunity to progress for the right person.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the company's continued growth, They are looking to professionalise their systems, infrastructure and IT management. You’ll be the first person in this role and have sole responsibility for the department, so it will be yours to shape. It’s an all-encompassing role that’s right for someone who is happy to work without guidance and supervision but can turn their hand to most things even if it is not your normal area of speciality. You'll need to both shape the IT strategy and implement it. Occasionally, they may even ask you to host gadget workshops with ever-enthusiastic neighbours who are always keen to learn new things.
Day to Day Tasks:
Develop and rollout the company's systems, app and infrastructure roadmap
Administration of existing systems
Full responsibility for data security across all systems
Network management of their WiFi networks
Developing and maintaining internal policies for IT equipment, software access and data security
General IT support for both staff and neighbours including onboarding new starters
Overseeing the IT budget
Provide training to employees to ensure best practices
The Person:
Proven experience developing and maintaining internal systems, infrastructure and IT support
Knowledge of security standards, legal requirements and the management of these
Experience with a wide range of software systems
