Responsibilities:


The primary responsibility of the IT Administrator at Stats Perform is to represent the IT department’s front of house support – servicing the IT support needs for our offices and for regional and remote based employees. Responsibilities also include proactive and reactive support, and activities related to change and projects. You will be working closely with all IT functions alongside departments such as the HR and Facilities teams to ensure the employee experience is delivered to the highest of standards.


We are looking for an experienced person working in the IT support field; the successful candidate will be required to engage on a one-to-one level with employees including the senior and executive management teams. You will be trusted to engage with external suppliers for procurement and maintaining support relationships for delivery of goods and services.



  • We are looking for a candidate to have a good record of accomplishment for delivering on projects and reporting back to the business of the successes and risks.

  • It is essential the candidate is a proactive and adaptable person with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced organisation.

  • Your responsibilities will include reactive support related to both incidents and requests. The role will be to support on-site incidents, prioritising incidents impacting live sporting events.

  • You will be responsible for maintaining IT systems to ensure maximum performance and up time, this includes desktop and laptop maintenance.

  • There are also requirements to work with the facilities and video engineering teams for maintaining meeting rooms, TV’s, display panels and access control systems.


This is a full-time position, working from our corporate headquarters at Paddington Basin in London which offers a range of benefits and activities due to the location.


Occasionally you will be required to work outside of the normal working hours to support internal and external teams with events and maintenance/change related activities.


The IT Administrator is a support role sitting within the IT Operations team, primarily responsible for first and second level technology support across the organisation.


We are looking for a candidate with five years’ experience in IT desktop support role.


Required Qualifications:



  • Local and remote support engagement

  • Provide high quality incident and request fulfilment support to employees, making sure IT SLA engagements are met.

  • Respond to requirements from the business and manage expectations (incident, request, problem, change).

  • Dealing with the IT needs for new starters and leavers.

  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex hardware problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair as needed.

  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, and mobile devices.

  • Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best-practices and defined security procedures.

  • Deploy technology, including and not limited to workstations, servers, printers, security systems.

  • Respond to alerts from monitoring teams and the level 1 global support team.

  • Contribute to a technical repository of knowledge articles to document how services are configured and related support processes.

  • Contribute to a range of IT projects that will deliver new business requirements, solve ongoing problems, or help us to build out the digital experience.

  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future hardware and corporate technology needs.


Desired Qualifications:



  • Excellent customer care

  • 5 years’ experience of working in an IT support function.

  • Experience administering and configuring a Microsoft Windows environment (Active Directory, Azure services, Microsoft 365, Intune)

  • Strong knowledge and experience of supporting Windows 10, 11.

  • Experience of managing Office IT resources including printing, scanning, VoIP, and audio-visual

  • Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience

  • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.

  • Experience with macOS

  • Basic networking experience (TCP IP/DNS/DHCP)

  • Experience dealing with hardware suppliers.

  • Excellent communication to various levels


Not essential, but great if you have:



  • Degree educated

  • Practical knowledge of ITIL (and ideally certification)

  • Managing a service through ServiceNow (incident, problem, change, request, asset management)

  • Using JAMF to configure Macs

  • Operational knowledge of SCCM, Intune and JAMF
