Senior IT Operations Manager – £105K + 40% Bonus & Excellent Benefits – Hybrid

Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, who are a market leading renewable energy organisation. We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead business engagement to drive IT operational alignment with the respective business unit in support of their outcomes.

This role will be responsible for the performance of a single global Service Desk, working to aligned process, a single set of KPIs and providing consistent, outstanding service globally.

Role & Responsibilities:

Lead the IT Service Desk, liaising with internal and external bodies as required, driving continual service improvement




Drive customer first mentality, focussed on service excellence through timely and accurate incident and request handling




Lead the monitoring and management of performance metrics




Accountable for implementing and executing policies, processes and procedures




Provide leadership duties, managing individuals, teams, and overall performance of employees




Act as senior point of escalation




Accountable for operating within the agreed budget and contribution to the development of the overall IT Operations budget




Support the development and delivery of strategic plans

Essential Skills & Experience:

Significant experience in an operational management role with broad IT knowledge




Experience in leading global teams and internal and external stakeholder management




Working knowledge and experience of ITIL best practice and ITSM tooling, particularly relating to Service Desk operations




Excellent organisation leadership skills with a strong ability to motivate, coach and mentor staff




Strong understanding of what exceptional customer experience looks like and the ability to instil a customer centric culture into the operations teams




Excellent verbal and written communications




Experience in strategic planning within a fast-paced changing business




Experience of working with business sponsors, stakeholders and third parties

Package:

Basic salary: £85K-£105K




Hybrid – Weekly office visits to closest office (Locations in: Leeds, London, Northampton, Ipswich) and must be prepared to travel frequently to all sites




Annual discretionary bonus – 20%-40% based on company performance




Pension – employee contribution 5%, employer contribution 10%
