The governors of St Augustine’s CE Primary School wish to appoint an Admin Officer to work
alongside the School Business Manager in our busy and lively school office.

Duties will include Reception and general office duties – telephone, photocopying, lots of typing, emailing and cash handling etc.

A pleasant, patient demeanour together with an ability to work at speed, accurately, under pressure and keep smiling is essential.

A degree of flexibility is required as the post holder may be asked to work some additional hours.



About the Candidate




The successful candidate must:


  • Be able to demonstrate excellent levels of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills

  • Have an excellent telephone manner

  • Have excellent organisational skills and able to use their initiative and have excellent time management skills

  • Be able to support and facilitate the work of others Be flexible and adaptable, be able to work under pressure and be able to work to deadlines

  • Be able to form successful relationships with children, other staff, parents and the wider community

  • Have a sense of humour!

  • Have knowledge of school systems is desirable but not essential as training will be given

St Augustine’s is a small vibrant, multicultural, inner city school with 210 pupils on roll. It is a 1 form entry school with a 26 place Nursery.
