Job Advert
IT Administrator
About us
Big Life is in the business of changing lives. We fight inequality by working with people and places to create opportunities and inspire change. Whatever service we deliver to help people to change their lives, we do things the Big Life Way.
What you’ll be doing
We’re looking for a highly organised IT administrator to join the Big Life group’s IT Team. This is a new post which will enable you to establish robust admin processes to manage IT administration.
You’ll help ensure we deliver a quality service to our staff, through a smooth-running new starter, mover and leaver process, which means staff have the equipment they need, when they need it.
You’ll make sure that everyone has the correct access rights across various platforms and keep track of our IT assets from the initial purchase through to allocation, decommissioning and recycling. And last but not least, you’ll provide first-class customer service to staff requiring IT support.
If you’re passionate about admin and organisation, and love working with IT, this could be just the job for you!
What we need from you
- You’ll have some experience of administration, ideally in an IT environment.
- You’ll have great attention to detail and auditing skills.
- You’ll be as comfortable being out on site within teams as you will be working on your own.
- You’ll be great at prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- You’ll have great communication skills, whether working virtually or face-to-face.
- You’ll require an enhanced DBS check for this role.
What we will offer you in return
- An annual salary of £24,496 (NJC point 12).
- A permanent, full-time contract for 35 hours a week
- 25 days holiday (pro rata), and 30 (pro rata) once you've been here five years
- A relaxed culture where you are expected to plan your own day, take breaks when you need them and enjoy your work
- Ongoing personal and professional development through regular supervision
- A supportive, flexible approach to managing staff health and wellbeing, including a wide range of perks, schemes and support.
