The opportunity
We are looking to recruit a forward thinking and professional PA to support the Director and Senior Leadership team in the Library, Careers and Enterprise department.
As the Personal Assistant to the Director and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. You will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, organising events, and overseeing various administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the library, careers, and enterprise department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PA to immerse themselves in a successful and interesting department, working with a passionate and dedicated team who are committed to removing unnecessary barriers to learning and making education more accessible.
Responsibilities and skills
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate high levels of initiative, self-motivation, outstanding time-management, and organisational skills and be creative, energetic, open, and collaborative. Ideally, you will have previous experience as a PA or administrator and will be:
- A great communicator and able connect with and influence people to do their best.
- Good at working with others to co-create ideas and solutions.
- Highly organised with the ability to make things happen and see things through for the benefit of our customers.
- Passionate about making education more accessible and able to demonstrate an understanding of, and empathy to the needs of a large and diverse university community.
