My client is a well-established and reputable law firm based in north London, specialising in residential and commercial conveyancing and wills and probate work. They are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy and dynamic team.

As a Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for:

• Providing administrative and secretarial support to the fee earners


• Preparing and drafting legal documents, letters and forms


• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other parties


• Managing diaries, appointments and deadlines


• Opening, closing and archiving files


• Handling incoming and outgoing post, calls and emails


• Maintaining accurate records and filing systems

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary in conveyancing ideally, experience in wills and probate will be desirable also


• Excellent typing, IT and Microsoft Office skills


• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail


• A professional and courteous manner


• A proactive and flexible approach


• A team player attitude
