Administration Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking individual with good communication skills to join the HPB & Endocrine surgery administration team, at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The post holder will have a ‘can do’ attitude and have experience of working in a busy NHS environment.
The post holder will be directly responsible to the Administration Manager and will work in close liaison with the consultants and their team. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that all patient correspondence is accurately sent to patients and their GPs in a timely fashion. The day-to-day working relationships include face-to-face, telephone and electronic communication, other administrative and clerical staff, all staff groups within the Trust, numerous outside agencies including patients, their carers, GPs and other hospitals.
The post holder will work flexibly with other secretarial colleagues in the overall provision of administrative support to the surgery and cancer Division.
Provide secretarial assistance to a designated unit or team ensuring the provision of an efficient and reliable service
