Power Platform & D365 Solutions Architect Full Time

The role


As a Power Platform/D365 Solutions Architect, you will be working within the Managed Services Power Platform Centre of Excellence Delivery Team, where you’ll be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements. You’ll help to design and deliver scalable solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform stack and will ensure seamless integration across various systems and platforms.


What will I be doing?



  • Lead and manage Power Platform engagements, from scoping and planning to implementation and successful delivery via the Managed Services Centre of Excellence team

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements and technical designs using the Microsoft Power Platform and associated technology stack

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), architecture diagrams, and user manuals – both functional and technical.

  • Ensure existing and new Power Platform solutions align with the organisations strategic goals and adhere to industry best practices and security standards.

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams by way of assistance with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and code review.

  • Conduct regular assessments of existing Customer Power Platform/D365 solutions, where appropriate, to identify areas for improvement and learning, and recommend enhancements or optimisations.

  • Collaborate with other architects, consultants, and stakeholders to integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems where applicable.

  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and workshops for end-users and key stakeholders, enabling them to effectively utilise and adopt Power Platform solutions.

  • Act as technical escalation point for BAU activities and complex service support issues.

  • Support Business as usual activities, such as Service Reviews and Business Reviews

  • Work in an agile way to design and deliver a backlog of work items for our customers.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in managing and prioritising product backlogs, and enabling stakeholders with regards agile methodologies, relevant tools and ceremonies.


What will I bring to the role?



  • Extensive Experience of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Dataverse, Power Apps (Model-Driven and Canvas), Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, custom connectors.

  • Extensive experience of Microsoft Dynamics CE first party applications

  • Ability to take customer requirements and identify solutions using Power Platform Capabilities.

  • Experience / knowledge with surrounding technologies such as SharePoint, Azure and the wider Microsoft 365 stack.

  • Experience of working within an Agile environment to deliver customer backlogs.

  • Experience of mentoring others.

  • Experience working with multiple customer engagements and delivering multiple solutions at a time
