Duties and Responsibilities Offer first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. Manage user support requests in a helpdesk ticketing system, prioritizing and resolving issues within defined service level agreements. Assist in conducting user training sessions to educate on basic IT procedures and best practices. Perform hardware and software maintenance tasks, ensuring proper inventory management and reporting faulty equipment. Collaborate with the network team to troubleshoot connectivity issues and support network device setup. Contribute to maintaining up-to-date IT documentation and knowledge base to facilitate efficient problem-solving. Follow established IT security protocols and policies, ensuring data protection and reporting potential security breaches. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, participating in professional development activities. Requirements Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Mathematics, English, and IT. Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Customer service-oriented approach with a patient and empathetic attitude. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Adherence to confidentiality and data protection policies. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
