Podiatry Administrator

Whittington Health Podiatry Service is an innovative team which delivers high quality podiatry care for patients at the Whittington hospital and across the London Boroughs of Haringey and Islington. Both boroughs have excellent public transport links and are highly accessible.
This post holder will work as part of the Whittington Health Podiatry Service to help deliver excellent patient care. This will include computer work, general administration work and coordinating the appointments system.
The post holder will use their excellent communication skills both to support patient, carer, GP and staff queries. These may be face to face, on
the phone and email. Providing excellent customer care at all times using Trust Customer Care Standards and applying the Trust ICARE values.
The post holder will carry out basic triaging of calls/emails and liaise with clinical service teams within the organisation to ensure that patients are
appropriately given information and followed up.
The post holder will use the electronic patient record (RiO) to perform key tasks including the rescheduling and booking/rebooking of patients.
The post holder will also support with Podiatry service administrative duties and work across both Haringey and Islington sites as required by the
service needs.
Due to the requirements of the team, the post holder will be required to work a shift pattern of 8am to 4pm. The post holder will also be expected to travel across Whittington Community Sites if required.
