IT Asset Administrator Full Time

Our Information and Library Services Directorate delivers award winning IT services and support, library, academic and digital skills and learning enhancement to staff and students across the university. Our digital mission is to ensure everyone in our community is equipped to effectively use digital services, data and technology with confidence, efficiency and creativity in their learning, teaching, research and organisational support


We are in search of an exceptional individual to join our Digital Service Delivery team as an IT Asset Administrator. This position will be a vital part of our newly established IT Asset Team, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of university endpoint devices. This is a non-technical role focused on device lifecycle administration, related to the procurement, deployment, repurposing and disposal of devices.


The ideal candidate should possess significant administrative support experience in an office environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will be required to work effectively with colleagues at all levels, external suppliers and service partners.


This role demands excellent organisational and business relationship management skills. You should also excel in prioritising and handling a diverse workload. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential as is excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain data accuracy.


The role is based on the Greenwich campus in London, but occasional travel to our Avery Hill and Medway Campuses in Kent will be necessary.
