Administrative Assistant

MillionPlus, the Association for Modern Universities, is seeking a bright, highly motivated and diligent part-time Administrative Assistant.
Providing essential admin support to the Head of Operations, Head of Public Affairs, Head of Policy and the MillionPlus Chief Executive it is imperative that the successful candidate is able to work effectively and flexibly to contribute to the success of a small team.
Our preferred candidate must be personable and relish the challenge of working in a demanding but supportive environment. You will need to be a proficient communicator with the ability to work independently on a wide range of tasks; have experience in organising and supporting Executive level meetings including the production of comprehensive and accurate minutes; be keen to get stuck into the planning and organising of events including parliamentary conferences, receptions and policy roundtables.
Furthermore, you will be providing diary and speaking engagement support to the Chief Executive including formatting presentations, booking travel and logging expenses.
Essential skills required:
- Highly organised approach and attention to detail is key
- Demonstrable time-management, workload management and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced-level experience in using Microsoft 365 packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (with a willingness to undergo further training as required).
We operate a hybrid system where employees are expected to attend the office twice weekly (Tuesday and Wednesday) and work from home on all other days. However, some flexibility may be required with adequate notice. The office is based in Elephant and Castle, London, SE1.
