About the Trust
The Northern Care Alliance is an NHS Foundation Trust (NCA FT) created by bringing together two NHS Trusts, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. The NCA FT was formally established on 1 October 2021. The NCA has been working together as a group since 2016.
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Provide complex diary management, arranging of meetings, appointments and interviews as required.
· Provide a confidential secretarial service, always maintaining confidentiality.
· To prepare and type agendas and take, type and distribute minutes of meetings.
· To be responsible for the preparation and circulation of meeting information and agendas.
· Maintain and develop a variety of systems to effectively manage workloads, including the use of bring forward systems.
· To provide administrative support for booking of rooms and arranging meetings, including the setting up of meetings/event planning and organising.
· To be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries using judgement to establish the validity and priority of the contact and direct calls/messages in a timely manner.
· To maintain internal filing systems aligned in accordance with the non-clinical records management strategy.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Experience in all Microsoft packages
· Experience in diary management/arranging meetings
· Experience in supporting formal committees in agenda setting and minute taking
· Experience in a similar role
· Excellent communication skills
