Industrial Door Engineering Ltd are looking for a Management Accountant


Company Summary




Industrial Door Engineering Ltd (IDE) who are part of the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems group are one of the biggest names in the Industrial and Commercial Door Industry in Northern England and Wales.




IDE’s manufacturing plant is 32,000 sq ft and produces over 1,000 new Roller Shutters Doors including Insulated Roller Shutters and Fire Rated Roller Shutters every year. IDE’s service engineers service and repair almost 7,000 Industrial and Commercial Doors across a wealth of small, medium and blue chip companies as well as major Councils and Public Sector organisations.




Role summary




As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for compiling, upgrading and updating the financial and strategic reports, with many possibilities to make a difference and add value to the business. You will be based in the Northwich office; however, the role may include occasional travel as required.




Responsibilities and challenges





  • To ensure the optimum budgetary and management accounts information is produced to allow effective operational decision-making in the business.

  • To ensure accurate and timely reporting of the requisite financials in line with ASSA ABLOY group requirements

  • To ensure the monthly payroll is run in an accurate and timely manner

  • To support the General Manager in the Rolling 5 Quarter Forecasting process

  • To ensure all liabilities are accounted for in a timely and accurate manner

  • To assist and ensure some of the Company Secretarial duties are effectively handled, VAT, inc stat accounts etc.

  • To ensure that Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

  • To ensure that Cash Management is processed in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Preparation of the month end and payroll input

  • Preparation and management of the annual audit

  • To act in a professional manner at all times when representing IDE and ASSA ABLOY




Background and personal qualities




To be a successful candidate you should have a proven record of accomplishment in a similar type of operation or business and if possible be CIMA qualified or equivalent.





You should be able to work comfortably with the designated IT systems and have the ability to work practically in line with the requirements of the business. You should have a good mastery of Microsoft office and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
