We're looking for a Cybersecurity, Technology, and Products lawyer to support our client, a global IT and professional services company, for around 6 months initially.

You'll be supporting the company's Cybersecurity practice, helping the business develop and take to market leading solutions for clients in this space. A lot of the work is high-tech so product and technology experience would be extremely beneficial.

Work will include:

• Supporting the Cybersecurity business' development of new services, products, and assets and helping them to prepare to launch to market. You'll work with legal colleagues, Quality and Risk leaders, and Innovation teams in identifying risks and potential mitigation strategies and implementing legal/contracting risk mitigations through development of template contract terms.


• Advising on risk conditions under which cybersecurity assets are provided and delivered in different geographies.


• Supporting legal contracting teams who are negotiating client opportunities involving cybersecurity products, including acting as SME for queries and escalations, creating and maintaining templates for the key cybersecurity products and providing recommendations and guidance materials.


• Creating and delivering training to legal and business teams to help upskill the company in the complexity and risk of cybersecurity work.

This will be a varied role, dealing with deal questions, everything from a products counsel reviewing new products and determining if there are specific risks, liaising with IP, or export compliance, export and trade control, regulatory teams.

You will:

• have at least 7 years' PQE and solid experience in cybersecurity and technology transactions or strong product counsel experience within the technology space.


• be comfortable working in fast-paced environments


• have the ability to work in a team-orientated environment, including remote collaboration as part of a global team.

This assignment is due to start within the next month, will be full time, and is expected to run for an initial period of 6 months. You can work remotely.
