What does the role involve?
Reporting to our End User Computing Manager, you will work as part of a friendly on-site team, providing desktop and IT technical support to our people at Novuna. In order to set you up for success in the role, we'll provide you with a 6-month training program. This is a full-time, on-site position to be worked from our Staines office.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Acting as an on-site contact for IT-related incidents logged through ServiceNow and resolving tickets
- Managing tickets for new starter IT kits, movers leavers returning kit
- Escalating complex issues to 3rd line using the correct process
- Proactively avoiding repetitive incidents through publishing “how-to's” articles
What are we looking for?
You enjoy delivering exceptional customer service and get a real kick out of solving problems. You'll not necessarily have a background in technical support but will have a proven track record of building relationships and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You come with a passion for IT with the desire to learn new technologies.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Completing tasks by following a defined process
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Ability to prioritise work
