IT Project Manager
at UNICEF UK London in London (Published at 12-10-2023)
UNICEF ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.
UNICEF UK needs a qualified and experienced IT project manager who has the breadth of experience to lead on a variety of technical projects for this progressive organisation. You will deliver projects which will have a profound effect on UNICEF UK’s effectiveness in raising resources for our vital international programmes. Projects we will address in the next six months include the selection and implementation of new enterprise products, security improvements, InTune deployment, a Windows 11 upgrade programme, laptop rollouts and business process redesigns.
We are looking for a team member with a broad technical background who can work autonomously and make their own decisions, and who can apply best practice techniques of waterfall and Agile methodologies in a pragmatic way. You must be comfortable discussing technical, contractual and resourcing issues with colleagues and suppliers and be confident presenting information to audiences of senior staff. You will have an excellent command of written English and fluency in the usual range of Microsoft planning and communication products.
Please bear in mind that when you write your response to our application questions, you demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and understanding of the role requirements and how well UNICEF UK’s values and mission aligns with yours.
