Job Title: Head of IT End User Experience


Business Title: Senior Director


Department: Global Technology and Data (GTD)


Reporting to: Head of Infrastructure Service and IT Operations


Location: London, UK



Role Summary



The Head of IT End User Experience must be a deeply technical leader, able to challenge and develop operating practices and technology solutions for a complete, comprehensive, and frictionless end user experience.



Primary Responsibilities



Job duties and responsibilities, not limited to:


  • End User Computing Engineering (EMEA, AMRS)

    • Partnering with EA to define an integrated and congruent Collaboration and Productivity strategy

    • Collaborating with infrastructure and security teams to engineer secure and frictionless end user experience capabilities and solutions

    • Proving engineering and operational support for Collaboration and Productivity solutions


  • IT Service Desk (EMEA, AMRS)

    • Providing a frictionless technology support experience for Barings teammates

    • Planning and executing device deployments, upgrades, and refresh

    • Managing the technology services for on/offboarding of Barings teammates

    • Responsible for the effective Incident resolution and managing the information flow

    • Drive enhancement and effectiveness of the Incident process, including identification & remediation of recurring end user issues through trending analysis and voice of the customer engagement





Qualifications/Requirements


  • Have proven technical experience leading an end user computing engineering team

  • Have proven experience in managing user support function

  • Expert knowledge of the full Microsoft 365 Productivity suite

  • Expert management of end-point devices

  • Be organized, able to manage backlog through Agile methodologies and hold working knowledge of ITSM practices

  • Be able to lead, guide and control troubleshooting activities across multiple technology teams.

  • Be passionate about innovation and fixated on the end user experience

  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers both internally and externally

  • Be sincere about creating a collaborative, high performing, and safe environment for all teammates to succeed.
