Promptly resolving reported IT issues for people working both remotely, and in the studio
Working with the IT Director and the rest of the IT team to ensure a smooth running of the whole department.
Ensuring both user-facing and internal documentation is maintained to a high standard.
Administration of user accounts, desktops, consoles, and other systems
Assisting with management of servers and network infrastructure
Working on projects both individually and with other members of the team
Ownership of some key development systems
Ensuring close collaboration between the support team and other functions of the studio
Other tasks as may be required by the needs of the team and the studio
Qualifications & Experience…
Demonstrable IT support experience in the games industry
Demonstrable ability to lead projects involving small teams
Expert level knowledge of modern Windows operating systems, working knowledge of MacOS and extensive experience with PC hardware
Knowledge of and experience with a wide range of desktop hardware and peripherals
Experience with PlayStation and Xbox development kits
Comfortable in PowerShell and working with simple scripts
Able to administer Perforce or similar version control software
Working with, and organisation of Active Directory
Good communication skills and excellent customer service
Ability to write scripts in Python preferred
Experience with any of the following is beneficial: Jira, Confluence, Team City, Jamf, render farms, audio design support, Unreal Engine, Parsec, OBS
If you do not meet all the requirements, but after reading through the description you feel excited about the position, and believe you’d still be a great fit for the role we’d still love to hear from you!
