IT Service Desk Analyst Full Time

About The Role




We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and organised individual to join a small but focussed central team that are establishing a modern, mature and scalable internal IT function based on a SaaS/PaaS cloud-based infrastructure.


You will work closely with the team to help galvanise the recently merged set of individual companies into a single, standardised organisation with a high-quality IT function. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations and helping to embed good standards and best practice across the organisation as it grows with our ambitious 3 year plan.






Responsibilities


  • Work as part of the IT Support team in a first line support role; helping users with a wide range of SaaS & PaaS applications.

  • Complete the onboarding of users onto internal systems, considering access rights, roles and permissions.

  • Provide Hardware support to end users, including the configuring on new equipment.

  • Contribute to the management of the Software Asset Register (SAR) and Hardware Asset Register (HAR).

  • Work to consistent standards for management of our portfolio of cloud-based apps.

  • Work within information security, governance and certification standards across the IT estate.

  • Help with the documentation of the internal IT estate.

  • Rationalising and consolidating the current portfolio of applications towards a single, standardised set of tools for the organisation.








About You


Enthusiastic and motivated, with an interest in developing your IT knowledge further by working as part of a small team to deliver excellent support for the business. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be customer focused.



Experience


Essential



  • Previous experience providing 1st line support

  • Knowledge of MacOS, Windows 10/11 and 365

  • Hardware support including Mac devices

  • Asset register management


Desirable


  • Previous experience working in a Cyber Essentials+ /ISO Certified environment

  • Mobile device management tools including Jamf

  • Azure Active Directory and Google Workspace
