The Role
As an IT support analyst, you will be responsible for troubleshooting IT issues and promptly resolving incidents to ensure the stability and reliability of our systems.
Familiarity with the following technologies is desirable: Atlassian suite Jira, Confluence, Slack, Azure Entra, Microsoft 365, Windows and MacOS, Fresh Service ITSM, VMware, Active Directory, Google workspace. Desired certifications: ITIL V4, CCNA, Microsoft Azure fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Monitor ServiceDesk queue and resolve incidents, escalating where needed.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues from office staff.
- Manage tasks and projects, providing updates and timelines where needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly to minimise downtime and impact on end- users.
- Build, install, configure, and maintain systems in both physical and virtual environments.
- Have a security first mindset, following processes and procedures.
- Able to build relationships and rapport with end users to provide VIP level IT support service.
- Ensuring uptime of all desktop systems in line with any SLAs.
- Keeping asset management systems up to date at all times.
- Liaise with vendors and third-parties to escalate and resolve incidents and problems.
Requirements
- Knowledge of common troubleshooting commands.
- Familiar with DHCP, DNS and Active Directory.
- 2 years hands-on desktop support experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
